Chronicles of a Wandering Saint
A beautiful SXSW film out of Argentina. It’s odd, but remains one of my favorite films of the year.
I feel super lucky to have gotten this published - basically a love letter to one of my favorite movies.
My most recent review! Very depressing, very enlightening, a very good film. A great intertext with the other late-career auteur pieces coming out this year (Juror #2, The Shrouds, etc.)
Discogs Digs
Exploring Vinyl from Japan’s Urahara Streetwear Scene
I’m super proud this one got through. Discogs is one of my favorite music sites, and I got to get pretty nerdy with this one. This piece surrounds the record labels and music that emerged out of the Urahara scene (Bape, Undercover, etc). It’s relatively surface level, but I hope an interesting lens for exploring an often repetitively studied subculture.
