• G.O.A. Cargo Bono Jacket, for military inspired yet fun inflected outerwear.

• This undercover FW22 Biker Jacket is tougher than your average Comme rider jacket, but still quite femme.

• eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons MAN Utility Jacket. For stealing a Banksy on a budget.

• The Dries Van Noten SS17 Patchwork Jean offers another craft heavy, funky take on classic denim.

  

THE ALTERNATIVE DESIGNERS’ SS24 CROP

• Puppets and Puppets RAVE TROUSER IN TAN or Black. This is the final season of P&P’s ready-to-wear before they move to London to focus on accessories. Grab while you can.

• While the Simone Rocha Pointed Collar Shirt is from last season, this piece seems like a rather timeless slice of the coquette-core trend.

• A favorite, the Melitta Baumeister SS24 Black Culottes. Too stiff and too black? Try her Green cropped denim pants

• I can’t quite detect the “robot“ in Doublet’s SS24 Robot Leg Trousers, but rest assured they are boxy and magnificent.

• The Hodakova double suit jacket coat is a gorgeous piece of what truly innovative upcycling can be. Hodakova is a new discovery from Dover Street Market, but the brand has also worked with Gucci.

• Speaking of inventive upcycling, more adventurous and tuned-in corset fans may enjoy these Choppova Lowena iterations made from children’s blankets. Each is a 1 of 1.
